KnoPro’s KPMG Challenge is a work-based assignment that can be used across various classroom situations. Assign the challenge as a month-long assignment, an extra credit opportunity, or with an extra-curricular entrepreneurship club. The Challenge can be easily added to any curriculum.

What is the KPMG AI Business Challenge?

How can AI help your favorite business transform how their business does things, improve the products or services they offer, make customers happier, and grow their business while making a greater impact on the world? Come up with an idea for this company that uses AI for a new product, business line, or marketing campaign. Pitch your ideas to KPMG with a 3–5-minute video, for a chance to win big.

Business professionals who serve as project mentors will be available for the duration of the challenge (October 21-December 8), and every student who completes the industry challenge can update their resume and college application with this exciting work-based learning opportunity. The top three groups will share a guaranteed $10,000 prize pool for Broward County students only. (First place - $5,000, Second place - $3,000, Third Place - $2,000).

The KPMG AI to Revolutionize Business Challenge is a nationwide competition with a regional “cup” available only to Broward County students. The top three groups will share a guaranteed $10,000 prize pool for Broward County Public School students only, (First place - $5,000, Second place - $3,000, Third Place - $2,000).

Who is eligible?
All high school students, enrolled in grades 9-12, who are enrolled in Broward County Public Schools.
How does it work?
  1. Sign Up Quickly and Easily
    Create a free student account for the KPMG AI Business Challenge—it takes less than a minute! All you need is an email address and your school's name. (Note: KnoPro is for students aged 13 and up.) By signing up, you can track your points, communicate with your team, receive feedback from industry professionals, and submit your work.
  2. Work Solo or in Teams
    Choose to participate individually or collaborate with others, either inside or outside of school. This is your opportunity to showcase your creativity!
  3. Develop Your Winning Solution
    Innovate a product, business offering, or marketing campaign that uses AI to improve your favorite business. Whether it's a new digital or physical product incorporating AI, a groundbreaking business program, or a viral AI-driven marketing strategy—the sky's the limit. Be creative!
  4. Request Feedback from Industry Professionals
    Engage with mentors who are ready to review your ideas and provide valuable feedback on your designs or practice presentations. They regularly log in to see who needs help and offer their insights safely and for free, helping you polish your work before submission.
  5. Submit a 3–5-Minute Video Pitch
    Present your idea in a 3–5-minute video pitch. Judges from NAF and KPMG will select the top three submissions—individuals or groups—for the challenge. Don't worry; we're evaluating the quality of your ideas and work, not your design or technical skills.
